The dapper Brad Goreski is the ultimate stylist-to-the-stars. With clients ranging from Rashida Jones to Demi Moore and Christina Ricci, Goreski is a great follow up to yesterday’s InStyle interview, as he also represents all things celebrity style. On his Bravo show, It’s a Brad, Brad World, Goreski breaks out of his role as Rachel Zoe’s assistant and takes his career as a solo celebrity stylist by storm. Between the bow ties and bright colors, we couldn’t resist stopping by Goreski’s studio in Los Angeles for a chat on all things food and fashion forward…

Pizza, cake and ice cream
What’s your drink?
Almond Milk Latte with cinnamon on top
How do you start your day on a good note?
With a healthy breakfast and lots of Intelligentsia Coffee
What do you always bring to a dinner party? Where do you get it?
A candle. Everyone likes a good smelling candle. Diptyque are my favorite.
What do you always put out when having one?
Flowers. I prefer a low, all white arrangement.
The ultimate dinner party faux pas…
Arriving late. Tardiness is always a big faux pas.
The perfect go-to outfit for an intimate dinner party…
You want to look chic and elegant. Put some thought into what you are wearing. The hostess will appreciate you looking your best; it’s respectful.
For a Man: Sweater, an oxford and dress pants. Always a good pair of shoes; they are good conversation starters.
For a Woman: A cute dress, heels, and tasteful jewelry. You never want to look better than the hostess. Compliment them, yes, but not steal the spotlight.
The perfect go-to outfit for a cocktail party…
Every hostess wants their guests to have fun at a cocktail party, so try wearing something festive.
For a Man: Wearing a full suit is nice. Make sure it fits well – most men wear their suits too big. A well-tailored black suit with a crisp white shirt open and a pair of black shoes is so striking on the right guy.
For a Woman: A fun and flirty dress. Sparkle works well at a cocktail party. Don’t forget about your hair and makeup. You want to look polished.
What’s an appropriate splurge?
I always splurge on shoes. You can never go wrong when you have happy feet.
What are your favorite places to travel to?
I love Europe. Brazil and Japan are also amazing. I never tire of going to New York City. It’s like a second home for me.
What won’t you travel without?
My Bose headphones. I like to drown out the noise on airplanes.
If you could dress anyone in the world, who would it be?
Michelle Obama. It would be an honor to style the First Lady.
If you could switch closets with one person in the world, who would it be?
Ryan Gosling or James Franco.
Take us through a typical nightly routine…
I don’t fuss too much at night. I floss and brush my teeth, use a toner on my face, and put on a nighttime moisturizer. Then it’s lights out!
What are some of your favorite Los Angeles and New York restaurants?
In LA I love Craig’s, Sushi Park, Hinoki and the Bird, Connie and Ted’s.
My favorites in NY are ABC Kitchen, ABC Cocina, Rubirosa, Maialino, Spring Street Natural.
What’s the restaurant that will never go out of style for you?
ABC Kitchen. It’s perfect from the first bite to the last.
If you could have a dinner party with any 5 people living or dead, who would be there and what would you wear?
Marilyn Monroe, Marie Antoinette, Gianni Versace, Jay Z , Jackie Onassis
