I had the pleasure of going to Tokyo in August to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Kate Spade New York. I have been to Tokyo before and I love it. The food, the people and the fashion are incredible.
It was fantastic to have the opportunity to meet with so many of the magazine editors there to discuss fashion and their love of Kate Spade New York.
The party was in a nightclub and the famous Japanese Pop star, Maki, sang her hit song “It’s 7pm in Tokyo”. Guests enjoyed pink champagne and frosted donuts.
I wore a custom suit by Martin Greenfield made out of metallic fabric from the Kate Spade holiday collection. I was like a human disco ball! The KSNY team in Japan are incredible. So lovely and warm! I loved their style so much. How great do they look in the collection.
One of the other highlights was seeing a billboard for the ad campaign I styled. Took me by surprise!
I can’t wait to go back!
