After four cities and hundreds of shows Paris ended Fashion month with a <big> bang. Here are my favorite shows from what Paris had to offer.

Lanvin
Prepping himself, Alber Elbaz sat in cafés watching the world pass by and came to the provocative conclusion that, while designers busily design their days away, women in the streets couldn’t care less. All or nothing—that was Elbaz’s starting point for his new collection.
Dries van Noten
Inspired by John Everett Millais’ Ophelia, this collection inspires a million hippie fantasies. Van Noten also mentioned A Midsummer Night’s Dream as a reference. That should tell you enough- think a chiffon and organza fairy-tale.
Givenchy
Riccardo Tisci’s sensational show channeled gypsies, Game of Thrones, Joan of Arc. These were the baddest bitches on a Givenchy runway in a long time. After the sex factor, the next thing you noticed was how worked these clothes were, some as elaborately as haute couture.
Louis Vuitton
amusing print of makeup, household appliances, and muscle cars. Ghesquière may have embraced wearable design, but he understands how to make his work stand out.

Valentino
Linen shirts with asymmetric necklines and a chunky ribbed sweater worn with lace-inset denim showed on this runway. Chiuri and Piccioli touched on many of Italy’s patrimonies, from its antiquities all the way down to its kitsch. The collection was poetic, graceful, and beautiful.
