Another food blog I love is thefirstmess.com. The recipes are soo yummy and healthy. Gary and I are trying to eat really well after indulging a lot this summer: ice cream, French fries, muffins, sweets…you know how it goes. I have been trying out some new recipes and this one was a hit. It takes a little elbow grease to shred all of the vegetables but it is worth it. I used a Japanese mandolin to shred the veggies and the tahini dressing is really easy and so delicious. I made extra so I could have leftovers for lunch and snacks!
